MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) or Udyam Registration is a free government certification. It provides recognition to micro, small, and medium businesses, giving them legal protection and prioritizing them for various central and state assistance programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Micro Enterprise: Investment in plant/machinery < Rs. 1 Crore and Turnover < Rs. 5 Crore
- Small Enterprise: Investment in plant/machinery < Rs. 10 Crore and Turnover < Rs. 50 Crore
- Medium Enterprise: Investment in plant/machinery < Rs. 50 Crore and Turnover < Rs. 250 Crore
